 Worlds I'm not sure if they are technically "worlds" since they are all just different areas of Donkey Kong Island, but for the sake of this page, let's call them worlds. :P So here they are, and a little info on them.  All the Worlds are part of this Island. HEY! It looks like DK's head.  Kongo Jungle (World 1) Here is Kongo Jungle, DK's Home World. You can see his tree-house in the topleft corner.  Monkey Mines (World 2) The second world, a little higher up the island. Has a couple mine levels, including the famous Mine Cart Madness level, always a fan favourite.  Vine Valley (World 3) A nice green world. Lots of green trees here, swing from ropes, get blown from lots of barrels in one level, and verse a giant bee at the end.  Gorilla Glacier (World 4) Every game with worlds has to have the Ice/Snow World, and here it is. Some nice snow levels, one has a blizzard, another is a really nice looking ice cave, with great music to match it. Try and get across these levels, and don't slip. This world also contains the only level for Squaks the Parrot. A completely dark level until he lights it up.  Kremkroc Industries Inc. (World 5) This is a pollution filled world. Go through factories, and a polluted green water level. Contains a level where the lights keep going on and off, a classic.  Chimp Caverns (World 6) Really this is the last world. But has some great stages to end of the game. One is where you are on a track level where you have to keep collecting fuel to keep your cart going. Also has a fun level where you quickly have to jump from falling platforms. You also get to battle Master Necky's Dad.  Gang-Plank Galleon (World 7) I'm not sure if you'd technically call this a level. Sort of how the Warp Zone in Super Mario Bros. 3 is sort of a world. This World, or rather battle area, does get its own place on the main Island Map. Here you face off with King K. Rool. |
